Threaded tube ends GN 992 are inserted in the tube with the use of a mallet. The lamellas bridge an inner diameter tolerance in either round or square tube of ± 0.5 mm. This enables the installation of threaded studs in tubes, e.g. to accommodate threaded leveling feet.
The dimensions are based on GN 990 construction tubings, however a check of the tolerance position of the tube is recommended.
